Went to the Santa Monica Airport to watch the planes landing and taking off, which they do with gratifying frequency. The Santa Monica Airport is said to be the busiest single-runway airport in the nation.
Walking to the airport (with stroller) was a bit more of a trek than I imagined. For one thing, many of the sidewalks in the general vicinity of the airport are severely broken up by ttree roots.
