Airport

Went to the Santa Monica Airport to watch the planes landing and taking off, which they do with gratifying frequency. The Santa Monica Airport is said to be the busiest single-runway airport in the nation.

Zoo

Another trip to the LA Zoo. This time the Children's Zoo was open and we petted some goats.



We also tried out the telephoto lens.

Light show

Phoebe is very interested in her Twilight Ladybug light projector.

Thousand Oaks

Woke up with Einstein hair.


Went to Thousand Oaks (new city) to see Norma, Bob, Robert, Laura, and Clara.


Went to the park.



Encountered a rabbit in the park and cats back at Robert and Laura's place.

Santa Monica Pier

We tried the carousel on the Santa Monica Pier. Phoebe didn't want to ride on one of the horses, so we just went around and around in a standing position. The carousel seems worthy of a return visit though.



Then we went to the small aquarium under the Pier, which was greeted with more enthusiasm.

Eating with Chopsticks

Granny and Granddad came to visit. Out to Ninjin for dinner!
