LA Zoo

We went to the LA Zoo. On the way in, when Granny was asked what animals she wanted to see, she said that she didn't mind but she wasn't much interested in birds. And although I had never noticed this before, the LA Zoo seems to be rather heavy on birds! Which is not to say that they don't have lions and tigers and bears as well... but we did see a lot of flamingos, swans, condors, vultures, macaws, sea eagles, ibises, Japanese hawk-eagles, etc. We skipped the corner with the ostriches.

Garden

Granny (not shown here) did a lot to help clear our flowerbeds and generally get the garden in order.

Getty Villa

Went with Granny to the Getty Villa.

Unfortunately Phoebe did not have patience for the tour and had to sit it out.

Raspberries

Granny started teaching Phoebe to blow raspberries, which made Phoebe laugh harder than ever before in her life.

Raspberries are only uproariously funny from Granny. It's not funny when Daddy does it, and Mummy can't do it at all.

Spoooooooon!

Phoebe had her first rice cereal today. It was a great success!
